turbo is on and ran it for a bit last night. Has a small oil and water leak so need to fix this and then take it for a drive. Had to remove sump and put a tube in for the oil return from turbo. Still have to make intake pipe from filter to turbo so should have sorted today will ad photos latter :D

how fuct is it?. If you look on ebay you can get rebuild kits for around $150 delivered. Put one in a tdo5 while back and was very impressed with the quality of the gear. Came with every thing exept shaft and wheels

i think it wasnt geting enough oil to tell you the truth. It makes a funny noise when it gets to a certin rev. I think the bearings are shot and yea i see there not to expenseve to repair. Did you do it your self. Is it easy to do??

yep did mine myself. If you mech minded then yeh is pretty easy to do. my kit came with an exploded veiw of the turbo so could see what piece went were.

Had the same issue when fitted a ct26 to my truck. Found that the silicone i used instead of gasket paper had partly blocked the feed hole. you should get around 1.5-2 ltrs of oil a minute flowing through.

Ah not too bad didnt actually break anything, just one of those annoying waste of time things..took the heavy duty leaf out of my front springs last weekend, went to do the rears yesterday and center bolts were so rusted no hope of getting the leaves apart, so reassembled achieving nothing lol. Have to cut out and replace the bolt, but the rears are nowhere near as stiff as the fronts were so will just leave them for now

Yea mate all done and goes sweet as look here http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/ ... 22&t=29478

manifold from the 12ht bolt straight on you need to change front pipe and i put my oil drain into the sump and got the oil from the oil sender unit also had to make all the piping from air box to turbo and turbo to motor

there is enough of them 12ht around but as i found its a little harder to get any bits for them. Im sure there must be a stuffed motor lying around in someones shead. I higly recomend doing the turbo conversion well worth it if your 2H goes anything like my old girl use to.

All the best with your hunt and if i can help with anything im more than happy to help where i can
