blank exhaust with plate, if you use 5mm plate you will need spacers under the nuts. If you plan on fitting egt gauge you can drill and tap this plate to suit thermocouple.
Blank inlet with plate, can drill and tap to suit boost gauge.
the vacuum line to the valve for the egr valve needs to be blanked off.
That is the minimum.
A diesel does not need a butterfly to control the revs, the amount of diesel does.
Now if you want fun you can try and make the small butterfly open all the time the engine is running or remove the large butterfly.
The down side of this is reduced engine braking, on turning the key off engine shuts down a little rougher, and if the fuel shut off system fails the engine will not stop.
The upside is you will get boost earlier as you have the full air flow through the engine therefore the turbo. This is why I have removed the large butterfly (drilled the screws holding it on the shaft and removed the plate only leaving the shaft) was to get more low down torque for towing.
Have fun

Thanks for the relpy .
So I can blank both ports and remove the egr pipe and just blank the vac pipe to the valve and that is all for minimum what about the electrical plug going to it?
And buy just doing what iv said above will I still get the no engine braking etc or is that just when you remove the butterfly
My truck already shutdown a little rough then it used to.
Thanks for any help

doesn't do anything - the ecu is not checking the position of the valve so just tape it up out of the way.

You don't get any with auto, with manual you get a little with the butterfly there, none with it removed.
