new bushings time
so i am starting to hear clacking sounds, checked the ol haynes manual, they reckon that its bush changing time, as do i and several other experts in the field, so my question is, do i get some nolathanes on or go for the original nissan part, or are there some better option?? i dont mind spending the money to get a good set of bushes, but i want a GOOD set, seeing that factory has lasted me 190kms, just opens me up to a whole world of options and i would like th suggestions of my trusted forum members
Cheers

go factory, nolathane wear out far to quickly
Re: new bushings time
factory bushes are 40 each plus, i have had this conversation earlier today, nissan are out of stock presently, you will need to ring around the dealers. genuine parts are the ONLY way to go for longterm use..
what alot of people dont do when they lift the truck is release the bolts so the bushes find there new position....

Re: new bushings time
Hi,
Front or rear.
If it rear I think the terrano and safari are the same, the Nissan people can correct me if I am wrong.
I possibly have some rear ones that I bought for a project but have not used yet, if they are what you want could let you have some but would need to replace them. Need to check the dimensions.
Also I think each end of the links has a different sized internal tube.
Nissan people may be able ot expand on the difference.
Cheers
