There was a hilux at uni today with a big Tomsoffroad sticker on the bonnet, had some pretty decent flex up the ramp

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
Sexy. So you will pick up that supporting post in the landing handrail as well?
(make sure you make the handrail 1.000m h eh).

Plans called for the handrail to be 900mm high from the top of the tread. No good you reakon? F#$k it better be alright

There is a supporting post from the inner stringer to the ground about halfway down. Waiting for the floor to be polished before its installed.
Yes landing handrail welds into both sides of that post.

Tom
Pretty sure you are fine at 900. The NZ/AS standard calls for between 900 & 1100 from memory.
Was working with this last year for factory guarding.
Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
You need min 1.000 from the flat surface of a landing, 900mm from the nosing line of the treads is fine though. The size variation can make it a bitch to match up a stair stringer handrail and a landing handrail if there is no newel post.

Sweet its all cool then. Havent made the landing balustrade yet but it will be 1000mm high. Was stressing alittle bit there

without getting into a DEBATE are they tie down eyes at the bottom of the cage braces or have you got some other clever idea in mind that I havent thought of?

Re: Tomsoffroad & Customs
Just a thought, bit of a brainfart, but you could make the sliders and sell them online, Trademe and the likes.......make them a bolt-on type deal
Like these but better

Can do. Would prefer to make them to order tho. Doing so and freighting them around the country is no problem.

Any welded on bar work is legal but needs to be certed to the best of my knowledge.

You could make a trademe listing and then say that you can make them to suit, potential for lots of customers that way
