Soo after getting rid of my old truck which i was in the process of building,It didnt take me long to find another that i just couldnt pass up on for the price...

Havent had much garage time with her lately but thought id throw up a couple of pics to get a new thread started for it.Over the next few months will be doing little bits here and there and will update as i go....

All in all i am stoked with it, few things i am going to change/improve on it but should be a crowd pleaser once completed.

hah yeh well im hopinnng that it will stay that way once the barwork, spare tyre and rear mounted rad goes on but am planning to work with that so departure angle remains as is.

Its currently got a 3.8 V6 commy engine in it running the standard VN auto with a Isuzu Mu tranny.

So after having the last 3 days on morning shift have managed to get some work done on the truck in the arvos...its not much but its progress for those who are interested....

Spent a few hours chipping away at the floor underseal beneath the carpet !! have done it to all my previous trucks n as much of a pig of a job it is, its worth it in the long run.... only got half done but will continue next week....

Finished off rebuilding the rear callipers and decided to give em a lick of paint for the sake of it...

Just got to get the rear rotors sandblasted n cleaned up then i can throw those back on aswell

Then when 1600 came around n the cold drinks came out i decided to hang the gaurds n grill for a looksieee...

And last off all for the past few days, i managed to source 5X14" galvinised rims with with pretty much brand new tyres all around which i will use on the trailer im going to start building in the next month for the truck......

HOooolllddd ya horeses, updates coming...

Got a good days work in today...
Got the windscreen removed in one piece with out any damage ( must be begineers luck seen it was my first time ) Removed all that black sticky shit of the frame and windscreen which exposed some rust...(fun times to come ) and then moved onto sanding the cowling and in behind the firewall above the footwell area to be primed.Wasnt expecting to get the primer down today but time was in my favour luckily. In between coats of paint i started making a cardboard template for the dash which will be made out of sheetmetal which ill get onto next week sometime. Also did some measuring for some sliders which i should have on by the end of the month...just deciding wether to bolt or weld them....thoughts ??

Pics say it all :D

that cab actually looks quite tidy all stripped out.you could've easily found more rust but that don't look too bad ae.you made any progress on the trailer?
