Steering mods required. Search the forum for rears up front, or RUF

dont they naturally sit quite flat? some decent ln106 front springs will bolt straight in, and have a couple of extra leafs from memory

yeah they naturally are pretty flat but my rear leafs have been reset about 2inches i think so the trucks on an angle and i want it level. finding springs isnt a problem i just want to know what else id need if i got +2inch reset leafs in the front before i go and buy everything.
ive been told id need a hi steer kit?

You'll be fine with 2 inch lift in the front. Going two inches higher than your surf sits now is realistically only going to be just higher than where it sat when new before the leaves sagged.
This is if you are getting your leaves reset 2 inches higher

The front shocks in mine (going by measurements of other brands) are rated std - 25mm lift only, with them disconnected i can only get around 20mm more before the steering drag link hits max angle. (Verified as even with the shocks disconnected and the leaves out drivers side still doesnt go any lower so nothing else holding it). So i dont know if i'd like to go 2" lift and any longer shocks without modding the steering, i cant imagine working the draglink ball joints at or very close to thier max angle wouldnt make them last very long.
Is it possible to do a half hi-steer? If you get what I mean, just raise the J arm end up and leave tie rod under the springs. Double stacked steering arms prehaps, this would at least reduce the drag link angle at ride height. Although it would then be out of line with the torque rod so you'd get bump steer i guess. Just some ideas to throw around
