the hilux engine bay was empty..so i didnt have to piss around taking that motor out ..that's the only reason it didnt take long, to get the cressida motor out only had to disconnect the main loom from the ECU,removed the PS pump, undo engine mounts, disconnect the vaccume hoses and heater hoses, take off the auto linkages and exhaust and driveshaft, then drop the trans crossmember...so in theory any one could do it as quick...all i needed was my air tool's....they speed things up a wee bit....

Man that sucks  everyone should know not to touch another mans gearbox :!: :!: :!:
 if you find the culprit offer to insert a replacement gearbox for them, it wont matter if they dont have a vehicle

for sure Big Brother...i might have access to two more motor's ..and might have access to another bellhousing..so i'll put one together for your truck since the engineers gave me the news that the 350 needs a rebore and will need the pistons to suit, so i'm flagging the chev conversion and will stick with the 5M...so apart from the 35's your running and your diff ratio's..our trucks should be equal..

Use the 2L radiator its a better fit and cools well, swap the top fitting for the bottom

If you reuse the Lux PS pump then you can get to the Alt when it gets full-o-shit or even better shift it higher
