Remember the clutch Al, and adam stuck on tree just before your clutch. that corner  recognised it straight away. Cant place that river one though.

Did you guys get to the very top of mount greenland?

River shots were heading out of the Waipuna Tunnels, about the 3rd river crossing after the tunnels, and the Safari shot was up No Name in a small area off to the side (easy to see).
Had to get towed out as the only way through was to hit it a little faster, but the guard was hard against the bank. As soon as there was pressure on the rope it pulled the rhs down enough to drive foward.

Yeah it was pretty tame.
There is a culvert near the bottom that has washed out, and if it gets any worse you may not get through.

There was one spot towards the top that the hilux had a problem (oh, and the mud hole part way up).
The Disco hit it hard and fast and bounced his way up, getting rid of a few large rocks, I threw the locker in to be on the safe side and made it fairly easily, we had to hook the Safari and Disco to the Hilux to get him up, and the Frank in the Pajero just cruised up

Must have changed since last time I was up there 2 1/2 years ago with DB. We got to the last bit which was quite steep and lots of large rocks/boulders in the track with heaps of diff oil on them. DB had a go but didnt get to far. Might have been cleaned out since. It was the bit where there is a high track(like a bypass) just after a sharp left hand corner near the top and low track with all the big shit on it.

Yeah, same place the lux had the problem. The high side had a steep cambered entry to it which would've been a struggle, and the left was just loose rock and boulders

I loved that bit - back in Jan 05 - I winched a fully laden VX up and the Patrol and other VX winched themselves over the high road
