Runva Winch Wireless Remote

Post by Henry »

Hi

I was trying out my new wireless remote today. Works Great.
I did have a thought that if I was on a club trip and there was 3 trucks with the wireless setup, do all 3 winches start up when I play with my remote? Or are they on separate frequencies?

Thanks

Short answer;
No unless they happen to have the same frequency, but there is a few.
The older ones, you used to be able to change it to make sure.

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Valid concern I think... maybe add an isolating switch for the wireless unit on dash, as it wouldn't be nice coming back to your truck to find the hook ripped threw your fairleader because someone else happened to have the same frequency.
Can do a bit of damage I've heard :oops: this wasn't caused by a wireless remote thou

If you break it... build it stronger.
