Hi Ben you will fit no problem ,Had a lwb Saf on 35x14.5 tyres on 10" rims running 40mm spacers and he fitted ok with plenty of clearance ,just had to do a couple of 3 point turns on a few corners .(us nissan owners are oust to that) though :) Also had a lwb prado through most of the tracks with no damage ,and all the tracks are being set by 2 mwb safari"s .Steve

Looking good ,looks a nice tidy job. :) With that wheel base you might want to think about fitting some of those blade thingies that they used to have on the chariots in Roman days  that way after your lights melt all the trees and bush you can trim it at ground level as you pass

Hahaha

Steve, are you all sorted for recovery trucks?

Reckon I'll fit through there with 80 series rear diff, 50mm spacers (each side), 10" wide rims with -44 offset and 18" wide rubber?

Think we are on recovery this weekend but I haven't been game to try and squeeze in there with the new set up yet.

Taz reckons we might need a saw up there to get around a few of those tight trees so I dug the old saw out and made up some mounts to clip it into the back of the truck where its easy to get to..... they dont get all toey about you trimming up a bit of shit on the tracks do they? :D :?:

As I have been on the receiving end of this type of thing in the past, I still have to mention it...

Where is your winch dampener? You should always have one even if it is only a small pull, there are two winches in this vid that you don't have it on, one would have thought with the experience that you have in challenges/club trips that you would have one on...

Well this time next week Woodhill will be buzzing....
I think I have finally got the truck ready..
Gearbox leak fixed.
Winch hook attach points fitted.
PTO lubed up.
Shear pin upgraded.
Led light bar made and wiring / switches fitted.
Led reverse light fitted and wired.
Spark arrestor fitted....
Everything given the once over.
Rear sway bar removed... Tore out rubber bush last time out and only noticed it yesterday... Flexes better without it. 8)
Fuel pump tweaked a bit more.....
Rims painted and Simex's fitted........

Now its just me to get ready.....

Mines not much better Jeremy  Only difference is its still mobile .Will be using it for the last time on Sat marking and bunting stages then Steve G takes it to use in the event because he cant get his truck running in time .hopefully he treats it nicely as Whangarei is only a couple of weeks later.

Spectators are allowed on the Saturday....As we start the event when its closed to the public on the Friday nite....But Monstr has more of the details...
There is an entry fee payable to the park management....

Also the park will be open as per usual but restrictions / considerations re the competitors on some tracks....

Hi Mate as Calvin has said The park will be open on Sat as per normal ,If you want to take a truck in to watch Roger is charging $40 per truck Doesn't matter if there is 1 passenger or 10 .If you want to bring a car and park up and walk hes charging $10 per head (adults) .Access to some of the tracks will be restricted (most of the red/blue tracks) if you bring your truck,( walk in only ) and a lot of the orange tracks will be 2 way for the Sat because were going up some the wrong way and Comp trucks have right of way.
Cheers
