Post by doddzee »

As per title, some asshole hit my car during the night and bent my drag link so need a replacement. Perfer Auckland so I can get it back on the road quickly but all options considered.

I did that to mine, but off road somehow

Went to toyota for a price thinking it would be cheap coz the 40 series tieroads were $45 a pair with the arm thrown in

but alas I was not suprised to hear that the drag link was in fact gonna be a shade over $1000 retail

I left all dejected and 10 mins later the parts man rang me and told be he could get it for $200 + gst

so its worth a shot at toyota but screw them for a good price otherwise bend it back and weld a sleeve over it

I'm buying tie-rods for around $60 now from toyota so a drag link shouldn't be that dear

If you draw a blank (or have to go to the bank  ) give me a PM with the length and I'll shorten and re-thread a tie rod for (should be less than $200 including frieght  )

Cheers Reece
