Mr Bishi from Kapiti

Post by zed »

Hi off roaders, I'm Adrian from Kapiti.

Just got my first 'real' 4x4, a swb series 1 Pajero. I've had an 80 series cruiser and a lexus surf before, but the Pajero is more capable than either (IMHO - the others were both shinys), and I'm looking forward to some great outings with it. So far it has a few mods, it runs a 2.6 petrol and 5 speed, pto winch, snorkel, suspension lift, superwinch hubs, rear locker, Simex ETs, onboard air etc. Have been on a couple of runs with the Tararua club, what an adventure! :D Nothing quite like being dropped in it at the deep end...

Here to get advice from those that know, and get into some fun and challenging outings.

Cheers

Cheers ladeda and badnuz. Yep Tararua are full on all right...first trip and very green at this whole 4x4 thing and I'd used the winch 3 times in the first hour! :D exactly what I wanted though, very challenging and will teach me everything about driving! Are you a member there or you in Levin/palmy club? Many good events your way?
