I was

Seems the rangy springs have made it sit too high. Mind you, the bodys are high up. I dont think itll be too bad since the engine and gearboxes are mounted pretty low.

Just a bit of an update incase anyone may be interested in putting a hilux master in there rover. This is with a 110 pedal box.

I was originally just going to make up a spacer and wind the adjuster all the way in, but there wouldnt have been enough thread on the nuts. Heres a pic showing how good a fit the plate is.
Image

Decided on welding some tube and welding the little plate that the booster had on it, to this. it looks better than some box section for a bolt spacer would have.
Image

Here it is mocked up

Image

And here it is mounted up
Image

I would have liked to shorten the shaft and mounted the booster flush with the pedal box, but I couldn't get the shaft out (didnt have the know how) and then decided that it would be easier to replace it with a stock item if it did stop working  .

This thing is gonna have awesome brakes. 4 wheel discs and quite a large booster (may swap the master with a 80 series one later if it gives me problems though). None of this going too fast over puddles because it didnt stop fast enough.

Does anyone know if there would be a point of putting a vaccum resivior in incase of brake failure?

Looks good. Nice width. Will this be going for rallywoods? I will be looking forward to seeing this vehicle. I am wrecking a aussie 6cyl 109 series 2a so if you need any panels etc let me know. It will be good to see another well modded Landrover out and about.

Could this perhaps be that Turoa has actually finished his Shedrover and is now selling it to buy a Suzuki?
