The addition of a pintel hook or similar fitting should allow for legal registration "exempt class B" as "Mobile Machinery"

From the NZTA Site, the clause that would cater;
Mobile machinery
Any vehicle (other than a tractor) with machinery permanently attached, designed to be used on the road for driving, carrying or propelling : airport runway sweepers; electrical substations; filters for transformer oil; stationary log haulers; or aero engine test benches.
I know it's been discussed before under "farm rego", but I would like to revist said discussion under a different subject heading and new debate

Our work vehicles come under the "miscellaneous" heading.
