Oh nice! I don't even have a standard interior light where you do! My Interior light is on the hardtop at the back above the rear window!

I was looking on trademe for lights the other day. Looking at the LED strips you can buy and was going to run them under the glovebox and steering wheel as interior lights. So dark at night and the lights down there don't do sh*t

Yea I've just got the pods with 2 x 6" speakers in them. New speakers and stereo is on my list of things to do

My jeep interior is a little different to yours, i don't have the center console!

Ah you've got the earlier one! Run two 12" white neons above your visors, should give good flood lighting? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/interior/lights/auction-465272795.htm might be a bit chunkier than LED but they are cheap..

ps- my stereo install is whorey as, two PCI backpanes bent to hold a single din HU in place.
