I'm really keen to get my new whale out for a play with the boys. I just have to get some tow hooks on it and make sure I've got enough equipment to get me through.

It's still standard at the mo, but am keen to see what she's like. That reminds me... must join the association. Might do it this week.

Who am I?? I'm new to being a 4wd owner, but wouldn't class myself as a complete novice. I've been out a bit with Mike over the years and was brought up on a farm. So if you think you can handle a tag along I'd be really keen to get out to get some experience and learn some more.

(I also want to get a new avatar... ie, not a gay on-road one!)

I dont mind leading a trip in there early november.
Maybe we should look into getting access into the akkas through ARAC aswell. I know my way through there and would be keen to take a few people through.

I'm in Tawa as well budd, I will keep a eye out for the whale. You will need tow hooks for sure if we do go to Rallywoods. Look forward to seeing what 5 tonnes of steal needs to pull it out. Won't be a SUK THATS FOR SURE

Blimey, sounds like someone's getting desperate! :D

Bubba: Have you seen that house with the big wedding invitations sign on it on Main Rd? That's us... mmmm, probably shouldn't say that on a public forum... but you can see it from the road anyway.

Had to buy the 5 tonnes of whale to pull the 2.5tonnes of boat we just upsized to. So we'll see how it goes. It is still shiney, but I'm sure it will loose a flare or two at some stage.

Have a chat to Stinky (Marty), he can sort you out with some hooks...he has a 'whale' like yours as well as a swb one, he can sort you out with some gear as well.... martin@wtbs.co.nz or 04 384 4141.

Theres probably another one of his workshop days coming up as well

Thanks Jerry. I've flicked him an email.

I am keen for any time over the next couple of months, other than this weekend - that's when the new boat turns up! Perhaps we could do Terewhiti this month, say 21st or 22nd, and doddzee's trip early Nov?

MMMMMMMMMMM 4WD's Boats, fishin, mmmmmmmmmmm I feel some man luv

I am just around the corner. My name is Rod and I like 4WD's, fishing diving and boating and long walks down the beach (as long as I'm driving)

Oh yeah, go see Marty, he will sort you out. His favorite saying is "buts whats the worst that can happen if you drive in there, get stuck?" No Marty the worst is dieing in a friggen ball of flames!

Anyway, I'm talking way to much shit now.

okey dokey then... perhaps I shouldn't have given out my location after all!

Careful there big fella... you will give us Tawa people a bad name. And we have to get to know each other a bit better before I take the next step in this relationship and take you out fishing

Wicked pics of Marty showing me how to tackle an obstacle in a Safari... I think I might start taking a little less of his advice!

Don't worry Mark you don't have to back up to the wall or install extra locks on your house.
