hi, spoke to a guy through work who had been 4 wheeling at puhoi tunnels somewhere does anyone know anything bout it?

ive heard about em and tried finding it on google but no luck yet ill have a look for the book that i read about it in. and get back to ya

there's also the Dome Valley tracks up the state highway a bit more...

If Your talking about Conicale peak rd be warned its not very truck friendly ,Only a few kms there and back ,multiple winches ,deep bog holes (swallows Nissan's) Take a packed lunch "you ll need it" :)

Cheers monstr/mnc, riden/raced enduros and cross countries in there(even won a couple) know all to well how nasty it can be. There is some cool stuff in there. Dont suppose you know anything about aharoa tunnel area?

Google maps Tunnel Road. I've not been in there so dont know what access or condition is like. Look out for Trains :wink:

Haha yea, i'd take the jeep to the start of the track in the Dome, but i'd just watch other people go through ;) my jeep is still classed as a shiny - for now!

The tunnel road track sounds interesting, here is that road:

The farm track at the top of Tunnel Rd does not follow the paper road so you would be trespassing if you go passed where the gravel road ends. They are also harvesting in the forest where it ends so you will not be granted permission.
