wanted tandem trailer, car transporter
needs to be 1800mm wide and 3.6m long anything considered but none of these 4 nd 5 grand things i dont want to pay more than 2k for one, cheaper the better, i dont mind a bit of work..

why dont you make one? then you can have exactly how you want.
Steel from some steel supplier off here delievered direct to your door,
4 hubs and stubs from a wrecker complete with brakes etc,
most expensive bit is the coupling with the brake cylinder on it.
I will make my own if and when I need one.

yep i am an engineer by trade and have built trailers in the past for bikes and cars no problem as i always had work facilities, mig welder, saw, space etc, since moving to nz i have not been able to get a job back in engineering locally so i am a mechanic in a husky/walker ride on mower shop so i now dont have these facilities and only a integral garage at home which i couldnt weld in becouse of fumes. i would love to build one.

Hey, Are you still looking for a trailer. I have one I'm thinking about selling needs a bit of TLC . 1800 wide 3.6 long, tilt, brakes used it to cart my rally truck around but is going to be to narrow when i widen my truck. I live in Cambridge, Are you interested ?
