prado auto

Have a 92 prado auto that just stopped driving was driving then stopped any ideas where to start looking motor still runs fine

Gidday,

No drive in any gear at all? Any loud bangs before it stopped driving?

Checked the trans fluid level? 4wd lever hasn't been knocked into Neutral by accident? Drive shafts look at good? Linkages to the gear selector all connected?

checked all that still no drive pulled auto and found oil pump drive gears stripped

Don't forget to flush the oil cooler lines going to the radiator in case they have bits in them if you are going to keep it as an auto.
