manual to auto swap

Hey
im looking at swapping my manual box for a auto in mu isuzu mu with a 4jb1 2.8,
few questions im trying to find out are
what is the model name of thhe auto out of a 2.8 and 3.1
i know they are different as the 3.1 has a different shift leaver for the transfer box
plus can a 3.1 auto fit a 2.8?
can these auto be made manual shift and do away with the trans computer?

any help appreciated

so ive come up with
2.8 4jb1 has a Aisin Warner 30-80le and the 3.1 4JG2 has a Aisin Warner 30-40LE
Does anyone know what box would be easier to set up?
ie computers etc

either should bolt up to the 4jb1. why you going auto?

sweet, i want the least amount of electrics, and set up with manual shift
but im sure it would need a computer to keep the oil pump going.
the manuals are far to high geared, i looked at a set of 3.1 crawler gears from the states but they arnt very cheap.
and changing my diff ratios gets tricky as i have a 4.8 hi pinion in the front.
