clutch cable replacement!

Hey I was just wondering weather anyone had put a hydraulic clutch cable into a 1990 escudo?Im running a cable and it either snaps or siezes.cheers

Doesn't answer your question, but I've got an 02 Grand Vitara that runs the G16B motor and that has a hydraulic clutch as standard. May be a good source to look at for parts.
