Just bought a cefiro, and knowing how often these are stolen.. im in need of an alarm, on quite a budget so $250 would be about max, what should i look at??

nothing, for that much to spend on a alarm may as well put a kill switch or put it on blocks
seriously i was looking for a one for my p10 and i am looking at 450 for a good one not a great one buts a avs one from memory but going to go for a better one with gps tracking

Worth a read and makes you think alot about lesser alarms and installations. (stopped me from wasting money on a shitty unit- havent seen him to sort me a decent one yet. just have to keep my fingers crossed...)

Maybe check with your insurance co and see if they are still insuring them?, As for alarms theres a few dubious looking ones on TM for sale in that price range. The NZSA star system no longer exists apparantly
Your $250 might be better spent on a large concrete block and a couple of heavy digger chains to attach it to
