Where to get 6G74 DOHC Headers?

Post by pjb »

I'm looking for some headers for my '94 NJ 3.5 DOHC.
Anyone know where to find such things?
Cheers!

I remember reading somewhere ages ago and stored it in the useless information folder that is my head, and think that they decided the DOHC exhausts were very good factory, the 3.0 could do with an improvement however.

Well that's good news I guess. The don't really look very special.
I'm in the process of investigating an ECU reflash. There's a guy in Auckland who reckons it's theoretically possible :?

The exhaust is freed up and the intake perhaps is slightly better than normal with a K&N panel...
Seems like there must be scope for using less gas. Especially when there are hiluxes with 1UZs rollling around on 35"s that are using less gas.

Ha ha really? I love going out with the guys with 1UZ's as they always use more fuel and even the 3.8 commys do too.

Good luck with the reflash, I'd be keen to hear results. Make sure you do some stopwatch testing before and after, and not just one run as they will vary a bit from day to day and slight uphill, downhill etc
