May b cheap but tried n tested and 1 of the best auto lockers.
If its in the front you will know no difference while on road. Just fit manual hubs

Ive got one in back of my kzn130 , probably the best mod ive ever done, work brilliantly. You have to slightly adjust your driving style especially on shingle roads but you soon learn . As you have so much extra traction you can take obsticles much slower so is much easier on your running gear , especially the front.
There is much debate about whether putting them in front or back is best but the user/install guide that comes with them suggests if you have only 1 install it in rear.
Before you purchase check how many spiders you have in diff as can be either 4 or2 & also they are different front to rear.

cheers thanks for that i have manual hubs and a pretty stock 04 hilux i have some heavy chains and a winch but find i loose traction too easy at times i dont drive with a heavy foot usually keeping wheels ticking over rather than thrashing the crap outa my truck i generally drive my truck for hunting only so this mod sounds like it would benifit my useage time to sell a dog and get the truck sorted for winter cheers for the replys
