Boiled Radiator on Terrano TD27

I understand what your trying to achieve, it may work, but not ideal. You'll see, I just had a look at my spare

Correct, the spacing is insufficient, I need to look for a new pulley with the correct spacing now. I wonder if other Terrano's had the belts mounted differently?

On a side note, I am looking for a Mistral tappet cover 97 model I think with the goose neck oil filler?

She's all back together and running, no leaks, cross fingers/touch wood.
All that's left to do is to take her in for a trans fluid replacement.

Is there any special way to refill the cooling system? I just replaced my water pump and the system has no leaks but I have had to add extra coolant about 3 times??????

In the engine service manual it shows a picture of an additional smaller radiator that was fitted to the terrano's going to Australia. Obviously the original radiator is too small in the first place!

Yeah, was an option for hotter climates. I have to top up my system 2-3 times after draining aswell

I found the problem, probably did not need to change my water pump!!!!
There is a small hose under the thermostat housing that connects to the pipe that goes to the turbo, this had a pin hole in it and would only leak when the motor was at operating temp and only slightly as a mist so it was very hard to find the leak and a pain in the arse to change the hose. But all good now.
CHECK this hose as mine was very perished and swollen[ the hose I mean!]
