A Frames

Post by pouw »

Anyone know the regulations relating to have an A framed 4wd?

Specifically interested in whether the A framed vehicle has to be registered and/or warranted.

Cheers

as long as the a frame is properly attached, and well built on a reasonably safe and sturdy vechle there is no need for the vechile being a framed to be warrented or registered. i had a print out from ltnz i used to keep in the glove box.

I looked into this a wile ago, you don't WOF or ergo , I think you still need lights and you can block your plate (get a boat light bar for the back).

There is an issue with Maximum un braked towing weight for most vehicles is 750kg. Not that I would worry about that.
Latest mod, pin stripes, hit the same branch I did on the way in on the way out.
