Fitting hyd pump to rr gearbox

I have a 1975 range rover gearbox/ transfercase.can i fit a hyd pump to run a winch

I think the 110 land Rover that competes in winch challenges and such like runs a pump and hydraulic winch off the PTO.
So guess you can but finding one could be the hardest part.

Hi there yes you can run one off your transfer box. I got mine from the UK off ebay it's a dowty pump that took about 1/2 hour to put it on not hard at all that was the easy part.I think it pumps 75lt per min at 3000psi.
