Where do you buy your parts

Post by 00falcon »

Got me a stock TJ. (stock for now)

I've spent a bit of time on this and other forums, and i kinda know where i'm wanting to go with my upgrades...

But curious to know where you guys get your parts.

Posted under "Jeep" as i have a Jeep, but anywhere to purchase parts / recovery gear / Beer... that you guys use I'll be interested in...

Cheers.

Don't know if this helps but

Herd lots about these guy's on the JK forums.

http://www.quadratec.com/
http://www.quadratec.com/wrangler-tj-parts/

I found if you organize your freight from NZ, it is much cheaper.

I have not brought from them but have dealt with them.

Hope NZ Dollar should be better soon.

Man those TJ part are heaps cheaper that JK part

Cheers Dave

I mostly get stuff from overseas, simply because it saves me from paying the middle's profit (unless is a heavy/unusual or one off extremely small item). Vendors mostly used with great service:

www.quadratec.com
www.summitracing.com
www.rokmen.com
www.otrattw.com
www.wooders.com.au
www.blackjackwelding.com.au

Locally, I have had good trades with both ARB shops in Auckland (Auckland 4x4 and Motortech).

I also use www.buyusa.co.nz for items that vendor from US can't send me directly. Aaron at buyusa has given me no reason to complain.

Both Quadratec and SummitRacing will price match if you find a better price somewhere else.

I almost forget the one I use for maintenance parts, a brilliant site with exceptionally reasonable prices and freight:

www.rockauto.com

I have even ordered air filters from them, at a cheaper delivered cost than local stores.

Yea, though I drive through the valley of death (and it's mudbogs), I shall fear no trail;for tho art modified is my rig, and thy lift kit and lockers they comfort me. Amen
