Hi Cammy didnt even see this message earlier. Welcome to ORE. Plenty of fun places to go around here if you know where to go. The track round Rerewhakaaitu is quite good in summer. Last I heard lake levels were quite high this year so maybe not recommended, I had water over the bonnet on my old safari last time I went down there :P Heaps around Manawahe area, even the roads can be interesting through there after a lot of rain. Looking at going up there quite a bit, just got new truck sorted and living in Whakatane now. Doing an overnighter with the Twin Diff club guys down to Minginui this weekend. Plenty of places just need to know where to go which is why Im looking at joining the club. I mostly know places around Tauranga area as thats where I was living when I first got a 4x4. Always keen to meet some more 4wheelers in this area, so tag alongs are welcome when I get up Manawahe next.

Clive

What kind of tyres are you running? V6 Zook should go pretty well offroad, nice n light, plenty of power.

Cool another local. What are you driving skotty ?

Cam; Last time he went up he busted a cv, which didnt do the front diff much good either, steering locked towing it out so some more panel damage, winches playing up..etc etc, but thats how it goes.
I'm usually pretty keen, would be out just about every weekend if I could afford the gas lol
