Swap my warn m10000 winch to small size winch!!

Hi all~

I have a good condition Warn m10k winch, I wanna swap for down size Warn brand winch ex) 9k or 9.5 or 8k.

Did u just buy it on TM? I'm the one that posted the question about it.. Am after a photo of the brake mechanism inside the drum. I guess you won't be stripping it :-(

Yes i got it on TM.
I cheked that it is working very Well from the workshop.
But I coudn't check it inside coz hard to take off as you asked me.
I'll put more pics soon.

Yea I found that one, thats the new style brake. the M10000 spans two different generations of WARN winch, the lower serials are the early brakes.

Tanks for looking but that's the newer brake too, they changed in 1984, my winch was manufactured in 1978 and is still going strong :-). I spent over an hour googling, have spoken to WARN USA and europe. There is no documentation left as it was all paper based and never digitised. WARN were great though they sent me docs for very brake assembly they had.

I should add they still make them and are from their commercial range.
