Sad as it is Japan is becoming more and more radioactive – guess what, so do their vehicles and parts. After time I predict people will be scrambling to get their hands on a landie as the benefits of automatic in-cab toast making and integral anti-radar capabilities will be offset by the enormous static on the radio generated by the beta particles – premature baldness from using a Jappa may also factor into the switch to land rover.

I heard the other day that with every Landy sold they give you a dog for free. This is done so that the dog can keep you company while you are waiting for the AA to come tow you.

You know you are a Land Rover owner when - You can find the bonnet release lever, find the bonnet catch, open the bonnet, find the problem and fix it - BLINDFOLDED.

it is amazing how the most vocal "ribber" has the most time to search the shit up and post it, oh yeah he drives, sorry, stores a broken toyota!!!

budgeting fuel for a trip is easy, get the total distance to be traveled and halve it= fuel bill, ie 200k= $100, easy. not including repairs of course :)

looking forward to pics

When 4wder Dave died and went to heaven he was chatting to St peter about 4wding and pete showed him a room full of gauges. For each marque of vehicle there was a gauge and they were all moving at different rates. Some like the lada gauge was barely moving while the nissan and toyota ones were turning over quite regularly. After a few minutes he asked pete where the landrover one was as it was conspicuously missing.

Pete smiled. "God has that one in his office" he said.

Dave surprised by this revelation asked if God was a rover fan, but Peter just laughed.

"Nah Rover drivers talk about their wagons so much he uses it as a fan."

Hahha love the jokes. Im one my third one as of last week.......AND i own a 40 Cruiser bush truck with a 350 Chevy but bought the Disco for towing. I even got a sticker made saying "Toyota Recovery Vehicle" cause with the rear LSD have pulled quite a few other trucks out of holes. So i might have got it stuck a few times too but have always been able to help back.:)

Well done, Discos are cheap and strong and owned by the brave!!!!!!!!!!
