mid 90's surf required to replace whitey

Post by Roenut »

hey people, i need to find another 4x4 to replace my surf as it got nicked the other day.
im after a mid 90's hilux surf.
can be manual or auto, but must be a 1kzte
reasonbly good condition, and preferably under 250km.
seems like a good enough time to upgrade to something newer, unless it gets recovered within the next week or two

truck has been located! cops are doing their thing at the mo. looks like it may have had tags and plates changed and a couple of small alterations etc.
it pays to have heaps of eyes out!

edit...just had a call from the cops, the guys done a runner with the truck and given false adddress etc

is this joker a brain surgeon or something thinking he can pinch a distintive white truck and throw some dodgy plates on it and drive it around the same area he stole it from and think of it as a keeper?

Even with tags etc changed would be easy to identify if you know what your looking for...if ya need someone else to vouch for identity just let me know ...i can still clearly remember what ya showed me on it a while ago.

i know his first name and the company he works for, but i wont be naming and shaming until its proven that he was the one that took it.
apparently he purchased it innocently in the weekend for bugger all etc.
still doesnt explain why he's done the runner if he himself thinks it was a legit sale :?:

Its a shame they cant chop his hands off, make sure they ping his "mates" who sold him a cheap car. Be interesting to hear where the new plates came from. If theres no evidance of it being advertised then it has to be a friend of a friend... will prob say he got offered it down the pub "sorry cant remember him, I was a bit pissed"
