This is your chance to hook on to a piece of fun for the few hours you have off on those muddy or sunny weekends. It's a, "buy and turn the key" type of deal here! It's all been done for you. It's a, "put your foot up it and hit the limiter" type of release for the weekend!! You'll love it. I could even work out a place for you to put it while you're working.
If you're new in town and aren't familiar with the Canterbury area? I'll point you in the right direction. Even give you a few pointers on handling it for maximum fun.

bottom line....
I paid 17k as it was when I brought it. Maybe too much?
But as it was, when i got the motor wet? The dizzies failed. It ran like a pig on 3 cylinders.
So I pressurized them plumbing air to the dizzies as well as "Speedi-Sleeving" them. This insured them of staying dry on those deep muddy holes.
The first run I did was up the Worsley and busted a CV.
From there I pulled the front axles out and replaced them with Longfields. There ended the issue of c.v's on the front end.

I'll be selling the Hains Hunter and looking for a Jet boat before buying another 4X4 rig Jim.
In the mean time I'm taking my kids over to the G.C. to do the theme parks in a few weeks time. One is 16yrs and the other 14. Their first time out of NZ. I'm looking forward to that like nothing else.

The odd shake now and then like it's been lately aint to bad. My 16 girl lives in Nelson. I got my 14 year old boy living with me here in Chch. We are all really looking forward to the trip to Aussy. My kids are fizzing about it. I can't wait to see their faces when we are at the theme parks at the G.C.

On a sadder note.
I took the new owner of the buggy out for a demo run at the Waimac this morning. Of course, when my foot was up it he had a grin going from ear to ear.
He was happy as.
It was sad to see him drive it away on the trailer after all that.

Oh well. Onwards and upwards.

Spoke to the new owner this morning. He called asking some more info. All good. But before that he told me that he'd already rolled it. Broke one of the front steering arms. I did tell him before he left that was one of the weakest parts of the buggy. He was still laughing about it all the same.
It's good to hear he's having a blast with it.
