Lightforce vs Narva

Heya guys... just after some opinions on a decision I'm trying to make lol

I have been recommended to get a set of Narva 71660BE lights to go on my winch bar. But I've also heard alot of good things about the Lightforce brand, and was just curious as to what some of you guys on here prefer and what you might recommend?

Light force or hella 4000 althought i think narvas big spotys to match the 4000s are good to, or some hid cheapys

I did alot of research on Spots and Lightforce came out on top pretty much everytime.

However I have decided that for offroad in NZ an LED light bar would be the best option or if you like the spotlight look on you wagon buy a couple of medium priced spreads as they throw out enough light to see more than far enough and provide awesome bright light all over where you actually need it for off roading. and then if you do want to spot certain things Ie down a gully. then have a good quality hand held spot to use if and when required. good for hunting as well

unless you like the poser big spots on the front or want to spot things over 1km away(most of us can not even see that far anyway ha ha) the big expensive spots are not really required. The aussies have good reason for big High quality spots with their infinitely long corrugated straight roads , no one else on them(to make you have to keep dipping your lights) and those big bouncy rats that you need to keep an eye out for .Not saying that some people out there actually do have a specific need for big expensive spots for their unique situation. but I would say 90% of the people have them on their trucks for the bling factor and bragging rights.

another thing I have found myself asking is "how much do I really drive at night?" Not that often and more on the road than offroad if I do.

Not sure which Narva lights you are looking at but I did like how some (all?) light force lights have an adjustable focus length meaning one flood one pencil or any other combo between

yeah they have a spread lens you put over the spot and whala a spread beam.

Thanks for the advice guys, has been interesting to read your points and opnions. At this stage I'm going to go with the Narva ones

coz you asked... in recent times HID and LED technology seems to have left halogen lights in the dark ages (no pun intended ) so unless your application is cosmetic or on a pretty tight budget a bit of research on other options wouldnt be a bad idea before you commit to halogen lights
