Wrecking 1992 Hilux Surf

Hey guys,

Have got a complete mint condition surf that im wrecking.

The engine has developed a bad knock (sounded like pistons were hitting something).

2LTE

Manual

Vehicle is rust free

Everything else is mint on it, it was wof,reg'd and had diesel ks before it came off the road (it may still have them).

Its done 220kms, driveline is in good condition.

It has never been modified its completely factory.

Rear window and motor is the best one ive ever seen, it goes up and down quickly by itself.

Body is in good condition - Purple/blue colour

Will put up some pics once its in the garage tonight.

what color interior sun visors does it have ?

Does it have bumper indicators or corner light indicators ?

2 door, not common. Repower. Worth more.

Yup garage has been restored to its former glory with a couch and empty space :mrgreen:

oh and 2 piles of mud tyres :twisted:

I thought about repowering but just got it for parts and something to do in my spare time, tv is over rated :lol:

It has normal interior colours (grey), it has bumper indicators.

Only wrecking it as the motor is trying to die, dont have the time, budget or patience to repower it :oops:

in all honesty its one of the tidiest surfs ive ever seen, never been offroad a day in its life, never towed anything.

No rust in the bumpers or doors

Diesel pump recon'd 20,000ks ago

Water pump & cambelt done at the same time.

Nah man, look on gearbox at speedo drive, cable or wires.

Hey guys I need this gone within a month, its taking up too much space...

Good parts off the top of my head are:

Complete rear diff

complete front end minus hubs

4.55 ratio diffs

Gearbox (mint cond) this is the popular one for v8 conversions

Driveshaft

Good condition body, live plates (minus all doors and side glass)

2lte block (unknown cond)

Front guards and bonnet

Good condition rear window motor

Altinator

Aircon pump
