I am not sure if it is a good idea to put a used locker in, particularly that has had a lot of metal pieces rolling around it following a bearing failure.

Similarly, I am not sure if it is a good idea to put a locker in a Dana 35. It might be worth searching for a Dana 44 (even out of a TJ) and fit to XJ. This is based on stories read on the net. I don't have experience with Dana 35 or XJ (never had one).
