disco build advise advice appreciated

95 3.9 disco
just had 2" suspension lift
with big shocks and no swaybars
hope to keep it legal as long as possible
just brought new set of 15" rims with 12mm offset
now for tyres ...
want as big as i can go
i have a set of 32 simexs but big guard chop required
or big body lift (yuck to top heavy)
alloy guards and back door makes chop a bit off work

running 33" 12.5 x 15 no body lift, about a 1-2" spring lift, front guard cut, rear guard and door cut, slight rub on full artculation and some steering lock, but ok other wise. but tthen agian i do have 80 series axles under it, which are a bit wider.......

which brand of 33's are you running
is it actual size or what is stated on tyre
how much did you cut out off back guards
sorry if this maybe a bit of asking but a photo would be great

took the doors as high as possible, trimmed the inner guard so it was a minimal fold, so about 50mm, packed the doors with epoxy to hold then together. 33x12.5 x 15 federal courgias, as for actual size pass never bothered to check. where abouts are u?

did the bars myself, and no to air bags,its a '94 disco so pre all the electronic issues

No LSD, both diffs are 'open'.

and tyres fit
sweet
tow hooks left and im ready to start gaining dents

make sure them tow hooks strong enough to handle a jeep towing it out
all the time

My 93 3.9 manaual had an LSD in it and was stamped in the log book too? It was sold new In Sydney and i bought it off a farmer Jan last year! Have since sold it and bought another auto V8 last month (which im selling again...........) cause i found a Td200 Manaual in CHCH this week end and am buying and driving that one back.

But mine used to power through some decent mud holes with 33s, 50mm body lift, 2" spring lift with both back wheeels clearly griping every single time. The guys in my club even commented that i had an LSD to which I originaly replied "NO" then did a few tests and there it was.............

beat back of front and rear guards with a hammah instead of a camel cut, being aloy they just rolled round and looks pretty good
Took ot out for a few plays beeen pretty much hassle free until sunday
whn bend stearing are which i was just gonna straighten up and weld angle iron on to but have been told i might not be able to for WOF reasons
Have seen afew other ideas around like a steal guide bolted on back of dif and craydled around stearing rod to prevent masive bending but im guessing abit of flexing,
The stearing arm hangs down behind the dif to so im gonna brace the underside if the dif in box section to reduce any direct impact,
will post some photos when i figure out how or get the miss to do it lol

re the rear track rod part of the problem is the steering damper down there as well.
There are options available to move the steering damper to the steering draglink same as Defender 90/110 set ups.
