Me n 3 others will be turning right out the end of Wilsons Rd  If you're up that way and you see a Wrangler with the Chrysler star on the side say hi.

What time are you looking at? High tide at 14:45ish.
I may get out tomorrow but it's not the kind of place to go solo.
I'll have take muds off and put at's on first.

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

Shoot - was a lesson. Didnt get to the beach till 10:30 (2hrs till high). Got a Mayday from a mate who got on down by the golf course and was bogged with blue smoke coming from his turbo so went to tow him up into a dune clearing. Ended up parking the trucks up 2km south of Rimmers, as it was too dodgy and riding the quads through the tracks behind.

Man beach driving is something different I can only say thanks to the guy at the gate in the Daihatsu Rugger who said drop the tyres to 18psi - Im relatively sure this saved my truck. Will be better prepared and planned next time.

After a bbq we waited the tide out with a few beers and headed back down for a truck wash in the stream by the golf course.

Fu#$n brilliant weekend.

The beach needs to be respected
I didn't end up going as the window of opportunity was too small.
Next time may pay to go with some experienced wheelers
