1997 TJ Auto trans cooler question.

Post by Jeeper »

I am noticing water dripping at a pretty constant rate during and for about 30 mins after driving. Its coming from between the sump and the trans up high somewhere. Its definately water as there is no smell or viscocity to the fluid. I have no idea where it may be coming from - And this is a rookie comment but the trans is oil coiled right??

There is cowl drain in that area. It could be rain water or condensation. Transmission lines are on the passenger side, not middle of the engine. Factory cooler is at the nottom of radiator.
