Stolen: MWB 70 Series 1985 Cruiser CHCH

Hey guys,

Just posting on behalf of a friend, who had their Landcruiser stolen from Canty Uni yesterday!

Silver 1985 70 Series Toyota Landcruiser - Mid Wheel Base, fibreglass
top with a roof rack

Identifying features:
Obvious dent in Passenger door
Custom bull-bars front and rear with Green tow hooks mounted
Custom steel Snorkel
33" Yokohama Geolander Mud Tyres
'Planet Audio' spare tyre cover

Will be something in order for anyone who can help lead to the recovery of this truck / catch the thieving scumbags more importantly!

Wouldn't be surprised at all, was stolen from the science carpark on campus. I remember hearing a few go missing around ricc mall etc earlier in year but haven't heard too much about cars / trucks going missing from campus.

Nothings bloody safe these days, I'm sure since the earthquakes all the scumbags have moved from modified cars from the potholes etc and now heaps of them are into stealing trucks etc for parts for their Waimak bashers.

Was it forsale at the time? My lux is forsale and this guy rings me from autobuy chch who wants to come take pictures to advertise it on more websites or something and takes no sale fee just wondnering if this guy had someone like that contact him?

Nope, that photo is from the guy who he brought it off on TM about a month or two earlier, he's pretty gutted to loose his new hunting wagon! Looked at them for ages before snapping that one up.

Thats ratshit mate, nice truck. I had the Safari that got knicked a couple of weeks ago. Got spotted a couple of times so definitely worth keeping an eye out.

Where was it parked out of interest?

Bout time UC upped their surveillance.

Ah yeah, saw the post there just below. Seems like there have been another 2 trucks go missing from Uni in the last couple of weeks as well, two hilux's have gone missing in that time as well.
It was parked in the science carpark. A mate posted on the UCSA site last night about security, seems someone has deleted it from there.

UC security are a bunch of fat useless c#&ts on segways. They only thing they are interested in is clamping tyres and trying to prevent anyone from having any form of fun. They aint gunna do anything about stolen shit cos they just dont care.
