New but old guy

Post by grandog »

Hello, my name is mike and I am an alcoholic. I am on my 4th heineken as I write this. I also am a bit of a landrover nut although I must confess I did own a 89 hilux ute for a while, was a good truck too. Other 4wds owned were 2 79 classic r rovers and a v8 Disco. My current vehicles are 98 disco 2.5tdi and A 99 p38 r rover 4.6 . Both vehicles get their share of off roading although I prefer the Disco as its more nimble and I dont mind it getting smacked around a bit (the truck) Am looking at doing some mods to make it more robust as have torn the stupid air dam thingy off the front on a stick and will have to sort out a new bumper and bar with light guards as these are always getting smashed (like me). Am currently running 255x70x 16 mt which are almost worn out and am toying with a plan to fit a set of 33x12.5x15 kl71s on 10" rims which I have. A 2" lift and some guard cutting and flares should do the trick and will see how she handles before I decide if there are castor issues. Cheers all. ( on wine now)
