3s-fe not running right

3s-fe not running right

ok in my daily not a 4wd
changed my cam belt and hasn't been running right have re done the static timming 2 or 3 times and the numbers on the belt
tdc on no1 and lined the hole and dimple up on the cam
runs ok for 5 mins or so then when taking off I have a bad flat spot bout 2500rpm and doesn't seem to idle nicely when hot
what have I over looked or stuffed up

Had one of these in a camry, GREAT wee engine
Had same prob too
