GQ safari Steering Box Wanted

As title says i need a steering box for a 92 safari after blowing the seals on my one up at rallywoods. If anyone has one in good condition please let me know need it asap.

Check on trademe for one. Also, I think 97's onwards were stronger. Ask JTop about that though.

Im looking for a GU one though :roll:

I may have found one.

Yip ive had a look on trade me only one on there and cant guarantee its not leaking, late GQ's and GU boxes are stronger just harder to find.

About 4 - 500 depends if the surfaces need machining.

Should have held onto the one we sold your dad :wink:

Hes got it his patrol. Ive got the old patrol one in the rover for mock up. I wonder how much it is for a new seal kit :?

I've replied to your email Doddzee. Will try to have it on its way down to you on Thursday.

GU steering boxes can be found...was quoted $950 for one yesterday. They have a different taper and thread on the pitman arm compared to the GQ one, so need to use GU steering rod end if fitting to a GQ.
