jus wondering if anyone has ever cut out their own sun roof. I wnt to do it in my terrano for rabbit shooting around the farm. Any ideas or pics of the best way to make it ?

we did they hilux with a saber saw.
measured up the sunroof from an old carolla with the hinges and locking handle(non electic), centered it then into it with the saber saw.
You will need to reinforce around the cut though as vehicles that have no sunroof only have the one layer of sheet metal on the roof.

sounds pretty basic . was it still up to wof standard or would you need to get a cert ?

what they don't know doesn't hurt them, we took care with lining on the inside obviously make it look relativley nice in all. but other wise no questions.
