Cheers Jerry
Sure can do this.
Are you asking "Is it 1 bag per hut we stay at?"
I have no idea. Someone else will have to answer this.

If it's anything like the 12 days I just spent bulldozing thru 4 metre high drifts to get to my truck, then I suggest we take heaps of dry wood.

Anyone taking a flat deck or well side that we can load the wood into?

So who's just doing the Glacier run and who's coming up the Hopkins too? I assume all the Welly dudes are all hitting the Hopkins?

Jerry wrote: Is it 1 bag per hut we stay at?

If you have room to bring a bag for each hut go nuts, but don't stress if you can't as with everyone bringing a bit it will be way more than we can use up the Mac and the rest left over with the crew heading up the Hopkins will leave Redhut stocked unless things don't go to plan.
Would hate to be the one stuck up there for a few extra days one year and find that some wankers had burned everything.

Just going to do another quick waffle about making sure you have decent warm gear again and plenty to insulate you from the ground. It's the difference between enjoying a trip no matter the weather, having a whinge the whole time or worse.

Not long now!! 8)

If you do need a spot, let me know, as Ive been chatting to the station manager about parking trailers/vehicles in the yard.

I'll be heading up there mid July to catch up with him, check out the track conditions etc.

If it proves popular hangi at one hut, other hut could do a few silversides or cornbeefs and spuds mustard sauce.if we got sorted could do savoury mince or curry snagg's and rice.would maybe easyer than every one trying to use the hut to cook.im happy to sort food for the three nights
