Has anyone done one before on a 1994 prado and could give me a few tips as im far from mechanically minded? Does it need cert after its done as thats the only mod ill be doing and Do i haft to mod anything else once i do the 2 inch body lift. like extend the gear stick etc?

some help would be much appreciated

Haven't done one that height, went up 20mm to clear some little mods I did....
But here is a list of what you will need to consider / need.
Keep the factory pads and just add to them. Longer set of bolts think there is about 10 locations....
You will need longer brake lines from the chassis to the body just below the brake booster....They wont stretch that far...if you try they will eventually fail (been there done that)
Watch the fan shroud for the radiator as the engine stays still and the rad goes up with the body....
Watch the fuel lines each end as they are attached to the chassis.
Most of the electrical lines will reach if you unclip them.
Gear linkage for auto will need adjustment and also make sure the Hi / low lever still moves fully fwd / rearward..... it may hit the body and you might need to trim the body to suit.....Same goes it you have a manual box....

Cant think of anything else.....
Sure someone else will pipe up if I have missed anything....
Cheers Calvin
