8) Above Lake Onslow last January - Brrrrrrrrr - bloody freezing - on way to failed trip to Serpintine the long way   too late in day to get through bogs

Image

My poor clone Toy Motor next morning outside pub (great roast) we stayed in - showing the mud covering after being launched too many times into the bog

wen i musterd n there i drove one of the two hilux's back out the onlsow way which is the worst way that i no of. we turned off about 1km or so from the onlsow to styx road the only time we had to do any towing was when my mate in the other farm truck stuffed up the creek crossing and with balled hankook mt's couldn't back out. took three days to muster the block.
1st day called off due to snow
2nd day spent 3-4hrs siting in the church waiting for the southerly to blow threw (really cold had all me winter gear on and was looking for more clothing)
3rd day finally was good enuf to muster an we were in shorts an a tshirt

this was 3weeks into the school xmas holidays

go prepared

you've been warned
