Adapter Plate Fabricators -Canterbury

Post by jamesbissland »

Hey All,

Does anyone know or can recommend a place that will make custom engine/gearbox adapter plates? -pref in Christchurch / Canterbury

Most of the engineering places I've tried only do commercial quantity / work and dont want to know about it

If you know anyone..let me know!!

Thanks in advance,
James

The best place I know to do this type of work is
The Machine Shop
Don Mathias
96 Kingsley St, Sydenham
Chch
Wk: 03 374 6184
Cell: 0273 495 089

Don is the most capable and competent Fitter & Turner I know. High praise coming from another Fitter & Turner and Design Engineer who has worked in engineering all over the world.

Don specialises in competition automotive modifications. He makes Very Strong close ratio Toyota gearboxes, and has worked on many successful race and rally cars.
Engine to gearbox adaptors are right up his street.

Looking forward to hearing more about your Seven.
