a real beginners question

hey guys
have a stock 94 gx 80s cruiser

just wanted an idea where to start first
i have some 33" savero m/t
but have been told that they would rub on the body
is there anything i should think about or whats the next path i should take
clearly to stop the rub means to raise it

as i said befor real newbe here

diff locks and a lift will get you further then 33's no use having big tyres if they gonna rub

33 should bolt straight on if not lift springs and a snorkel and rated tow hooks then let the rest come as you figure out what you wont to do

Welcome aboard. 35 fitted mine but rubbed with standard springs etc, 33 should fit no problems with standard springs,Plus as pete said snokel , tow hooks , recovery gear, then see what you think you need, winch, lift,lockers if you have none,lights all round but it all costs, great choice on truck by the way

so it seems that i need lockers and springs
and cheers the sign writing is gone now i got it off my company it was that or someone else would have got it :S
i have had it from when the last clown ran the engine without a water pump and cooked the engine so its on its second 1HZ and runs like a dream

One thing thats often overlooked before you start looking too much at tyres and lifts and lockers and barwork and winches and fiddle brakes and V8s and mods and all that shit is to just get a bit of seat time in the truck before you start $$leaping forward$$ to much and just learn how to drive it and what your capabilities are and what sort of 4WDing type or level is going to suit you and try and learn a bit from watching others what to do (and what not to do ) and then what you'll need to do to your truck starts coming naturaly

Exactly as saddam said.
Your 33's will fit with no mods at all on an 80 series, assuming you don't get 10" wide rims.
It is far too common to have people spending up shit loads on goodies and they have no idea what their or their trucks capabilities are. Get some arse in seat time and see what spins your wheels.
