Whats the best twin shock or single shock

Was looking for some advice on the pros and cons on a twin shock setup on my rangerover chassis based truck.im going to go front and rear dislocation cones with cranked rear arms off set bushes in the front arms.with 5'' extended shocks.but not sure weather to go single or twin shocks front and rear.keen to here from anyone who whants to put there two cents worth in. :D

Are you racing it or crawling? For racing twins are the go, they will run cooler as you run lighter damping in each one, they share the load.
But, I'm guessing with your setup you're looking at crawling/trials more, so just a single will do the trick, and save a lot of extra complication and cost.

Cheers for that.will be abused as i tend to push thing to the limit.my lojic was it is not the lightest truck out they,and when we get a little air under the wheels the extra shock my help.i thought eight shocks must be better than four....
